Lost Among The Black Kites
From singer/songwriters to shoegaze and chill wave, each video this week takes us to places both real and imagined…
Sun Kil Moon‘s newest record, Among The Leaves, is one of Mark Kozelek’s most revealing albums to date. What’s even more revealing is how often he makes a video for one of his songs… almost never. Until now.
Jens Lekman‘s I Know What Love Isn’t doesn’t come out until September 4th, but we can still enjoy a part of it with this video for ‘Erica America’.
Another Green World has been putting out some fairly interesting videos at a pretty even pace lately. This video for his song ‘Lost’ features Cameron from Ferris Bueller’s Day Off and his many adventures throughout Chicago.
I’m not very familiar with Fantasmes and their version of 90s-inspired shoegaze, but regardless of how they sound, I really love what they did with this video for ‘Redness Moon’. Even if you don’t care for the music, this is just an interesting video to watch.
Finally, Teeel is a favorite of mine and though he has plenty of videos, it seemed like something was missing… so, in an act of shameless self-promotion, here is my video for Teeel’s ‘Centauri’.
